I have never disputed anything because I filed bk a year ago, and my stuff will be falling off in another 1 to 2 years anyway. I'm old enough that credit is not important to me for the time being.
Anyway, This is what WHY CHAT says about it.

OPT OUt,
Wait 3 weeks for the opt out to take effect.
Call each of the CRA's (get an INDIVIDUAL credit report from each, snail mail) Tell them that the address information on your reports is incorrect, that you never lived at ----(don't think this is a big deal unless you have moved to a different state)
Wait 3 weeks, check on line to make sure your old addresses were deleted.
Dispute online as "not mine" any and all of your old accounts, judgments, etc.
Whatever is left over on your reports, redispute by mail, stating "This is not my account,I never had an account for this amount with this creditor on tis date" If any of the "leftovers" are also duplicates, state that also.
You should have a clean report in 3 months.

Experian is always the most difficult. But, that's the way to do it. This repo is so old, I don't think it will be much of a problem to clean up your credit report.

First off though, send the SOL letter. Here is a link to the auto deficiency letter. You can use this one or the SOL one. I don't think it matters much since this is so old.
