while i was doing collections i worked on a few accounts where people were using debt excess they are basically a settelment company,but the collections company doesnt have to work with them or any ccs unless the comp sends a letter informing them they have your power of attorney.my advice to anyone working with a debt resolution company is if you are paying for there services STOP theyre basiclly doing the same thing that you can do yourself,but debtxs seemed ok to me
