Any help appreciated: I'm in New Jersey I have 1 MBNA card that was charged off. (EQUIFAX) Date of last activity 12/1999 (EXPERIAN) Date of status 6/2000, Last reported 3/2001 (TRANSUNION) "Paid off(??)" 10/1999 All say "Purchesd by another lender" "Another Lender" (I forgot who) got themselves on my credit report, and I quickly disputed it. The CRA removed them. I receive a letter approx. 3 times a year from Pressler and Pressler, attorneys representing their clients "New Century Financial Services", offering me various levels of deals. I have never paid any attention. I have opted out through the big 3 CRA's I have just financed a brand-new car in January. I received a 0% interest rate. OK, now the question: I see on Why Chat's site, that the SOL on Open accounts in New Jersey is listed as 3 years, but on this website: http://creditinfocenter.com/rebuild/statuteLimitations.shtml It's listed as 6 years. What gives, and which is correct? Thank You!
