Where you currently live, Ohio. The SOL for all of your accounts has passed if you have not paid them in 5 years.

Bad debt buyer bought your account for pennies on the dollar. They have no legal recourse to collect. You can ignore them, send the SOL letter, or tell them to go pound sand. I suggest the SOL letter.

You should opt out to prevent another CA from buying an old account. The CAs buy old debts, and they buy lists of people who are applying for a mortgage or car (matched by computer) and they poison your CR with the hopes that you will pay, just to get rid of them.
