Here is the situation.

Person who lives in Virginia gets a judgment against them in 9/98

person now lives in Louisiana but will be moving to florida. They lived in florida for 2-3 years before moving for 1 year as a manager in a restaurant. it was a temp thing.

It appears, on your website, that florida has a 5 year SOL if not recorded in the state. Does that mean if this person lives in florida the judgment, since it is over 5 years old, cannot be collected on i.e. lein or garnishment or does it mean 5 years after transferred to florida?
