I have received numerous calls from the CA Lenahan Law Offices. OC is First USA Bank, charged off in 2002. Account has gone through several CA's. "Law offices" Sounds scary, but I did my homework and found out from Bud Hibbs that this is about the worst CA out there. Bud is amazingly helpful. They threatened to sue me, but Bud tells me they have been barred from collecting in Texas, which is where I live and work. I sent a C&D to them by fax from a shipping store. Do I need to send them another C&D by certified mail? Do I even need to bother, since they are illegally collecting in Texas anyway? I've already sent a formal complaint to the FTC on their website. Next step is to call the NY states attorney where they are located. Don't be afraid of these guys. They are scum. Thanks to all. Frank
