I am so sorry to hear about you getting scammed by a Debt Settlement Company.They are no good at all.. They take your hard earned money and put it in their own savings account Collecting interest, while never making a payment to your credit card company. MBNA no matter if you are up to date or 6 months past due will not work with debt settlement companies. You would have been better off sending the 375 to MBNA and Citi.. I do not know about Citi, but I do know that MBNA will start using W&A immediately.. Do you have an attorney who may be a friend who can help get your money from the debt settlement company back?...
