Unfortunately, WHY CHAT posted that he will not be posting her until they refresh. You can e-mail him though.

Ican tell you this much. Why Chat said that if a lawsuit is filed in a different state from the current resident state, the debotr must be served with notice of the claim, and can file for a change of venue to their own state.

I definitely would not ignore it.

Why Chat also said:
If a judgement is obtained in a different state, it can not be enforced against a debtor in their resident state, unless the judgement is "perfected" (certified by that State as being correct)and "domesticated"(refiled as a foregin judgment in the resident State).

That's about as much as I can tell you. I would suggest that you e-mail Y-Chat directly. at Y-Chat@webtv.net

He requests that you put n your subject line"Cardreport Forum". If you are on AOL, please make sure your AOL spam filter allows e-mail from webtv.

Further he says: Almost ALL of my replies to AOL users are returned undeliverable.

I just printed out something he said awhile back, and am passing it onto you. If you are on AOL, sounds like you might have a problem. Otherwise, keep an eye on the board, it will probably be refreshed soon. Maybe one of the other pros will answer. Good Luck.
