I knew I could not take her to court now that she has filed BK - I am hoping that maybe since her grandmother and mother are not happy about the fact that she is doing this to me after we have been friends with her family for so long that I can appeal to her to still pay me back. Someone mentioned earlier that I cannot be removed once named but wondered about reaffirming the debt. Do I just ask her to reaffirm or do I have to go through a process myself to do that?

I know I may be fighting a losing battle and I know the main reason she did that letter was because her mother & grandmother came down on her so hard for doing this to me so my guess it was a way for everyone to back off from her.
