I was hoping because Providian gave me incorrect information and didn't contact me that I would have some hope of changing the reporting. I'm going to ask Providian to remove the items from my report, but I'm not holding my breath....

I can still get a loan, but it's going to seriously affect the interest rate I pay.

It's just so upsetting when you think you've handled something properly and it's all messed up-- especially over $22!
