Worried that she'll tell her attorney what? That her mother and gm are bugging her? First, you have no control over what they do, so the court can't hold you responsible as long as you're not continuing to talk to them (or anyone else for that matter) about her owing you a debt. She doesn't owe you a thing - or at least she won't as soon as the bk is discharged.

Second, her mother and gm can continue haranguing her all they want. The court stay applies only to creditors (i.e. you).

I know you probably feel used and angry, but if she had to file bk over other debts, she had no choice but to include you on the creditor matrix. Intentionally omitting a creditor is fraud and could have gotten her in trouble.

Like I said earlier, she's allowed to pay back any creditor she wishes after the bk is discharged and closed. Some people pay back dentists, relatives, etc. that they want to maintain a relationship with. But it has to be of her own volition. You can never claim she owes you money again.

Most lessons are hard learned, aren't they? The last time I loaned a "friend" money expecting to be paid back was in the 8th grade when I loaned Charlotte's older sister $2.50. Promised to pay it back tomorrow. Yeah, right. She avoided me like the plague, and all Charlotte said was "she never pays it back" with a big smirk on her face. And I never saw a penny of my money. I've loaned small amounts since, but only amounts I could afford to lose, and always with the understanding that it wasn't necessary to pay it back. Then if it wasn't paid back, at least no relationships were ruined over it.
