Is this a double entry or what?

I found two entries from NCO on my credit report. Different account numbers but same date of last activity (March, 2000)and exact same "high credit" amount of $4918. However, one of the entries shows a balance of $8100 and the other's balance is the $4918. It looks to me like they've reported both the original debt and the amount after interest, etc. Can I send a letter to Equifax telling them to remove at least one of those entries? Would I use WhyChat's dispute letter for that?
