Does the SOL mean 4 years from the original creditor write-off or 4 years from Asset Acceptance buying it? This has gone thru a number of different agencies thru the years and I really don't know what to do. I would think hiring a lawyer to negotiate these settlements would be the best route but that costs money I do not have.
