Help!
These people somehow got my work number
and new address (i put in NO change of address, the only new "credit" thing I acquired was a cell phone)
apparently there is a 3100 I think she said debt with discover. the card had 2000 and it was "charged off"
I looked at the "sol" for California and it said
'STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS (IN YEARS)

Open Acct.: Reduced to writing-4

Open Acct.: No writing-2

Written Contract: 4 '
though I don't know what 'reduced to writing, or no writing or 'written contract' means in lieu of this.
however, they got my work number!
I thought debt collectors were NOT allowed to phone your work office?
I gave them my parents address (which I use)
and my parents phone number (which I use)
the woman "Amanda" said I had one week to decide what to do?
the accounts had no activity since 2001
