This board is awesome but I found it too late. I have a charge off from Bank one that went to Palisades, and then W&A. They sent me the original letter and I did not respond within 30 days. Next they sent me a letter with a settlement offer for 85%. That would be $7500. For this amount of debt I expect them to sue. Is it too late to send a validation letter? What can I do to avoid a judgement? I have no assets, by the way. Thank everyone for your help
