There is ALWAYS hope!!

Send the refusal of arbitration letter to W & A.

Check your statements with MBNA, you may have PAID them last in 2003, but what CONDITION was your account in at that time?

Ca. is a "last item" State, which means the last amount paid or charged on an account that was ACTIVE, OPEN, and MUTUAL starts the SOL.

So, if your account had been "frozen" or "suspended" or they had reduced your credit limit to below or at what you owed, then you SOL date would have started at the point where your account was still USEABLE.

If they file suit to obtain a judgment based on the award, you can use the answer which follows the refusal of arbitration letter. This will force them to refile an actual claim with full proofs of their claim.( which they may not be able to do)
