Right now, I am dealing with the mentioned attorneys who are out of Broward County in Florida. I had a charged off Citibank Master Card debt from 1999. I got a summons to appear and, like a dummy, I called to make "payment arrgangements" since the thought of going to court terrified me. I have been able to make close to the first two monthly payments but get this awful feeling that they are going to try to screw me more since the last check has not been cashed. Any help on this issue regarding SOL's or if Florida's laws on wage garnishing.
