My orginial mess. was that I was in NYC right now but moving to Florida in the next few weeks. My Driver's Lic. is Florida. Why Chat wrote... go to the county court and file an affidavit of homestead. My question is I don't own the property only the manufactured house. There is no property tax. Do I still file this affidavit? There could be a judgement starting against me in NY.
