Protect your banking info. They can seize your bank account. If you have ever paid the original debtor with your current bank account, they have your banking info. Possibly garnish wages, if they know where you work, if you have an adequate salary, and if your state allows it. I assume they got a default judgement because you thought this was going to court in September. Wait for Why Chat or someone to answer, sounds like someone pulled a fast one, and you should be able to do something about it. PROTECT YOUR MONEY, GET IT OUT OF THE BANK.
