As I have stated in many previous postings, your best defense is the CND. Make sure you send it via Certified Mail return receipt. They legally cannot contact you, place anything on your credit report or attempt to collect the debt any further once they have received your notification. If they do, sue them for all it's worth, and use the proceeds to pay off the rest of your debt !!
