I have several judgements on my credit report for late rent from 2 yrs ago but each time, I paid the amount owed, plus fees, before the trial date. Now, they are telling me that even though I paid, the judgements are there for 7 yrs. Does anyone know if there is a way to get these judgements off my credit as they never went to trial, and no judgement actually took place?
By the way, I'm in the sucky ass state of Va.
