Thank you all for your kindness. I live in New York. My credit was revolving credit cards for about three years when I was trying to run a business which never took off the ground.I used up all my credit line of about 80,000 in about three years. Stopped payments in May of 2003.
I am living off the remnants of the borrowed money which is almost all gone now. My kind
friend does not charge me rent, but I pay him for food etc.
I have a feeling that I will need professional help for bankruptcy because waiting out for the statute of limitation is not possible, since I have nothing to live on. My health is extremely poor and cannot work at this time. I do not
know if I can get any financial assistance either since I am so badly involved with bad debt.
When life was good I took care of all my taxes and dues and even helped the needy to the extent that I burnt myself.
What has really shaken me is the court summons.
I am dreadful of these legal complexities and have No courage or energy to face them.
