Also, on the two accounts that are paid (It's actually the OC and Sherman Aquisitions. I have a letter from Sherman stating the account has been paid and is now closed.), do I ask that those items be corrected or removed from my report altogether? The sample dispute letter on WhyChat's site asks for removal of the information. But if my letter of proof says the account has been paid, then I can't claim the debt isn't mine and should be removed altogether, right? They just need to update the info to reflect that it's paid and closed. Do I have that right? I'm a little nervous about shooting off my first letter! lol
