Two CA's are trying to collect the same debt

I received a letter from Fin. Credit Serv. on Jul 14th stating they they had purchased my debt from Asset Acceptance.

On July 16th I received a letter from a collection attorney saying that they had purchased that same debt from Asset Acceptance.

I don't know who actually "owns" the debt now and if I should respond to both of them and what should I ask them.
