You would get served at your "legal residence" for a suit filed in the State you took the account out in, OR where you actually live and work.

What State did you default in? Did it have a shorter SOL? Your current "long SOL" State may have a "borrowing" statute that would
make the shorter "default"State's SOL applicable.
