First, you should go to the bank and speak with the manager. Ask him/her IF there is INDEED a lien on your checking account. If there is a lien on your account, you account will be red-flagged so that you will not be able to remove money from the account. The bank CAN NOT place a lien on your account JUST at the request of a scumbag law firm......they must have a legitimate court ordered judgement in order to execute a lien.

Next, you need to go to the local courthouse and
ask the county court clerk IF there has been a lien and/or judgement filed in the court in your county. The court order judgement MUST have a page number and case number on it in order to be legitimate.

IF 'fuzz nuts & fuzz nuts' have NOT filed a lien as written in their letter, contact a consumer advocate lawyer and sue them for violation of the FDCPA. They can not threaten to take action unless they plan to do so. Hopefully, it will turn out to be just a scare tactic. You need to think twice before you pay those A>>holes. What state are you in? Is your debt past the statute of limitation?
