I had problems with Providian too. I tried to work with these bastards. They didn't want to work with me, so they closed the account. Now I am dodging scum. As long as they don't sue, I don't give a flip.

If the system was fair and reasonable, we would not have some many people suffering. Most people are good and honest. But when you charge 28% interest rates on $6000, what average joe can afford that?

Hey, buddy-- tell 'em to screw themselves. Fight like a man. Back in the 50's and 60's, things were different. Yes, businesses were businesses. Money was made, but they weren't sickening, low-life bloodsuckers. Morons didn't harrass and ruin people's lives over ill gotten money, robbery, and extortion. There were laws to protect the average citizen.

I live in GA. I will move from this hellhole one day. Down in GA, you have no rights. The businesses have all the rights and they can do wantever they want. This is a "right-to-work" state and there are no unions. Down in the south are some of the lowest wages in the country.

Part of the problem is that the U.S. and state governments have failed to properly regulate these "banks" (the politicians are all rich big cats to begin with and after entering office are owned by and are in cahoots with other rich roaches). When you enter into an agreement with someone to lend money at 16% interest, then raise the rate to 29% after being two days late on one payment, this is robbery.

I am now getting off my soapbox. :)
