Oh lord, the ex's are the worst with this one. I was told this when mine pulled it. Because the CA's were attempting to come after me. In your divorce decree, is he listed as the one responsible for having to pay these off? If so, copy them and send them to the reporting agencies and ask to have them removed. Number one thing that should have been done when you started your divorce was that your name should have come off of them. I was not successful with getting them off my record, but when you apply for a loan and they ask you about them. Show them the divorce decree (as long as he was ordered to pay it!) and most will take this into consideration. Believe it or not, most are understanding!
