First, I live in New York State. They did not served the judgement properly, because they left it with the doorman of my building. So, I was not able to answer to the judgement. They do have a lien on "one" of my checking accts.
Will they have access to my other one?
I went to the court and requested a copy of the summons and judgement. It is legit.
The SOL was reaching it's deadline right before they file for a judgement.
I am thinkng of paying the settlement offer, but I am not sure if I should fight this or just pay it.
