I once got a message from one of these companies that left an 800 # to call back but left a different # on the caller ID. When I called the # left on the ID it came up with a recording saying the number was a US Cellular #. I called them and they couldn't track the number and said they were as confused as I was. I did call back the 800 # and it turned out to be NCB Management in Pennsylvania. Their reps were typically rude and I sent the cease and desist letter stopping calls.
