No, they can't. You'll not find it in state law, it's federal. Report these buccaneers to the FTC straightaway. "Running the statute", as re-aging is called, is illegal. They must pay. One of the skunks scamming an estate from our family via an elderly relative started out as a collector, after he had his sorry worm-tail kicked out of an ivy league university, back in '57. Hard to get into ivy league schools, harder yet to get thrown out. Once in, you're in. You have to work hard at getting tossed. The jerkxxx knows 'running the statute', in addition to other FTC violations, isn't that right, "Kennit", or whatever your real name might be, back at the Brooklyn social club. I digress. Nail these bums. You're in the FL 'Killing Fields', where greaseball CA's buy off the courts to test consumer scams. Assert your rights.
