Credit card - joint account

I opened a line of credit a few years ago, over the phone using my stepdad's information. He did give verbal permission to me, but never spoke to the bank himself. He never saw a bill, never used the credit card, etc. I made payments and had the information. It was all done by me. Can they try to put a lien on his house?
