The account is still with the OC, they assigned it to this lawyer, he has sent me copies of my statements and the origianl agreement with the credit card company. I only quit paying on this account in July 03' and it was current until then, a paycut is what caused all of this to happen, this is the only company that would not work with me all of the others did and were paid!! I have the money to pay his payments now that we are back on our feet. I have read the texas exemptions, we have our house which is exempt, we have two trucks, but owe more than they are worth, we have a horse trailer that we owe more than it is worth, all of these are with our home town bank and we kept them current through all of this, we also have four horses, they are nothing special just grade horses, that we ride on the weekends, other than that we have our furniture and everything is used handby downs from family members. The only thing I am really worried about is my husbands checking account and my kids savings account, which my name is not on either of them. The money in my kids savings account is money that their grandparents have put in there for them. I have checked with the state bar assoc., he is licensed to sue in the state of Texas. I hope I have answered all of your questions, so you can help me.
