I called the OC to see if the account had been sold or assigned, after I received the summons, and they told me it had been assigned, and my credit report shows them to still have the account, it was not charged off until Feb 04'. I assume that the reason it was so easy for him to validate is because, the account is still pretty recent and still with the OC. Thanks for all of you help Jkelly, I have read this board for awhile now and you always seem willing to help in anyway you can, and you and Whychat answers are well informed that is why I addressed this question to you two.
