JKelly is right. Northland collects for Sherman. They usually settle accts. But you have to watch Sherman. If you decide to settle w/Northland and pay them something be forewarned that Sherman will try to send the remaining balance to another CA. Then you would simply send a copy of your settlement letter w/Northland along with a note saying the acct was settled. They should then go away. But Sherman/Northland whomever decides to collect should be able to verify who the OC is and validate the debt.
