There are many that would disagree, but I think that when junk debt buyers purchase a debt, they already have a set criteria for bringing a lawsuit. If you fall within thier criteria, they will sue. With that much debt owed, if you have a good job for them to attach your wages or a house with enough equity, or some other sort of asset, they will sue. My county currently has 24 cases filed by Midland Credit Management (bad debt buyer) on the docket, so yes, bad debt buyers will sue.
