In a Trustee's eyes, $159/month in disposable income will fund a Ch 13 and you would likely be denied a CH 7 !! Disposable income is what's left over after you pay all of your NORMAL EXPENSES, do NOT include paying on ANY debts except for secured debts like a mortgage or car payment. Sounds to me like you're underestimating your true expenses - most people do. Below is a link to an expense calculator, go thru it, I think you'll find you have less disposable income than you think !!
