Hey, I have a question, I have a repo on my record (June 2002). Penncro and Associate is now handling the account. After the first phone call from Penncro I got an attorney and the attorney sent a letter asking them to validate the debt and enclosed a letter that I sent my original creditor. And since I was represented by counsel, Penncro is no longer allowed to contact me. In November, Penncro sent a letter to my attorney saying that they have received the letter, will not contact me, and that they have forwarded the letter for validation. Well, I keep getting form letters dunning me for money from Penncro and my attorney and I have not heard from the original creditor yet (keep in mind we requested validation in November). My attorney is telling me to lay low. And let them keep sending me letters. I just wanted some one elses opinion on this...I live in Oklahoma. Thank you!
