in 1996 I cosigned on a loan for friend, 1997 last payment was made. 1998 judgment was filed against me not the primary borrower. within sol for my state. my friend never had a judgment against them(sol has expired in thier state so they can;t beheld liable.) they went after me not the primary borrower. 2004 i came into some money and offer to pay the judgment. but they wanted the judgment amount and interest. i only had 9000 for the judgment which they refused to take they wanted 13000. i am a housewife this money was a winfall for me and could be used for other things.but i want to improve mycredit report. so i made them a offer and they refused. the oc refused to talk to me. 4years left on sol. thank you.
