In order for any property or assets you own in Fl. to be at risk, the Judgment would have to be perfected (certified) and domesticated(refiled) in Florida.

If you are living and working in NY, and had any attachable assets,or a job where they could garnish your wages, they would have already done so.

If you are moving to Fl., and this was a summary judgment filed 6 years ago( where you were served and appeared or answered in Court), then it is POSSIBLE that they can perfect and domesticate the Judgment in the next year (Fl. Judgment SOL is 7 years, NY is 10). They can NOT have a writ of enforcement on the NY Judgment in Fl. as the 5 year SOL for THAT is past.

If it was a N.Y. DEFAULT Judgment, it can not be domesticated in Fl.at all.
