Where are you getting your information from?
I recently relocated to a new state and when i tried to get my drivers license moved over the new state refused saying I had an outstanding issue in AK. I called the alaska division of motor vehicles and they gave me the name of the attorney they had listed in their computer. I called that attorney and they are the ones who are saying I have to pay them 20% of the accumulated money to even begin a repayment plan (they had no interest in justice or the truth, just money) such that the mark in the computer system would be removed and allow me to obtain a license.

Is a collection agent trying to collect from you on this?
I have never been contacted by any agency of any kind in the last nineteen years regarding this judgement!

Is it on your credit reports, under Public Records?
The last time I checked my CR was 2-3 years ago and from memory I do not recall any such item

A judgment is for 10 years in Alaska.

Are you still living in Alaska?
I left alaska to attend college in 1993.
