I just got a call from someone at Calvary Portfolio Services
regarding a 2-yr old bill I have no knowledge of (I have had no
correspondence or previous notices, and as far as I recall, have
not done business with the creditor). I asked the gentleman from
Calvary Portfolio for more information about the bill - he asked
me for my Social Security Number (which, due to ID theft concerns,
I do not share freely). When I wouldn't give him my Social Security
Number, he hung up on me. While we in NJ have never been accused
of having the best manners,we at least know better than to act
so rudely.
