I have a VISA check card and I can use it just like a credit card except I can't charge more than I have in my account. Another advantage is you aren't charged a finance fee for using the check card and no bill comes once a month, purchases are listed on your bank statements. Online purchases, hotel, rental car, paying bills online or on the phone, etc it is honored the same as a cc and it also is your atm card. They are great as long as you remember to deduct your purchases and bank withdrawls on your register.
