I received papers on a credit card company that was suing me and I answered as I should have. Now, I have received a letter of Discovery from them? I believe I have thirty days from what I read. I cannot afford a lawyer. Am I sure to be sued now or what can I do? Will they offer me any sort of settlement or am I on my way to court? I will answer to the best of my ability but I have none of the documentation, cancelled checks etc that they ask for, simply because I have moved since then. Though I can answer most of the questions honestly. Am I bound for court? I never thought it would come to this. It just makes me so nervous I am sick.
