Did you receive a summons or something else from the court OR did the collector send you a letter or call you and tell you that they sued.
I have been "sued" several times over the past year or two and nothing has been filed, so far anyway. Now that I have been "sued" they are only calling me 7 days a week with their machines. One has been doing this for EIGHT MONTHS after "filing the suit".
Just be sure you are REALLY sued before you do anything drastic.
