Something like this happened to my next door neighbor a few years back. Her husband got a loan from a finance company, just to get through a bad patch between jobs. Anyway, he was from Spain and she was from Tennessee. The finance company did not know she was an American. They thought she was from another country and would not know any better.These jerks tried to strong arm their way into her home when her husband was out of the country..scared her half to death. When they realized she was American.. They backed off big time. I told her to call the police , but she said she was embarressed because they were one month late on a payment...I think I would have turned Tennessee on them and shot their butts off...Sarah, are you from another country?
