What happens kind of depends on who is the collector. Its not likely they will or even can send it back to cap1. Did they say something like "we will ask cap1 if we should proceed with litigation" or something similiar. If so then thats another scare tactic. The CA may sue but if they did the above tactic its just not likely they will really contact Cap1 now. Your next letter might be "our client has informed us to proceed with litigation, please contact us immediatly to avoid this procedure" or similiar. Just another scare tactic they take, as they have done with me. If you can , post the name of the collector and the the state you are in. DO NOT post specifics about your account.
