I am not aware of anyway they can get your current employment information unless you or someone else tells them. From what I have experienced and read on the boards, they can be outright deceptive in their quest to get your current employment.

Offer you some kind of credit, you won a prize, do you want a loan. The list goes on and on. One gal here said they followed her to work. That wouldn't work here in the city, but she was in a small town.

But, if you don't live in a very small town where it would be easy to follow you (and I don't know how often that happens) and you are careful.......

Here's the thing though....if they get a judgment,they can just subponea you to court and ask you about your income and assets. SO, if you do receive the arbitration letter, it is important to send the refusal of arbitration letter, and then if/when they try to get a judgment, and you have refused arbitration (keep proof) then they have to sue you the regular way and actually prove their case with real documentation. You can defend and you can win.
