You guys don't get it.
The point is NOT "verifying" or "obtaining" a legal address-- IT IS GETTING A RESPONSE OF ANY KIND FROM A DEBTOR AT THAT ADDRESS !!!

It is the same deal as clicking the "remove me from your mailing list" link on your spam mail.
