Ok, follow-up questions, as I want to make certain I get this right for my wife. In other words, please hold my hand a minute or two longer. In Why Chats SOL letter it starts with [Subscriber] I’m guessing that would be my wife as she is listed in their letter to her with her maiden name. Further down it states: [Date] Certified Mail No.: _____________
Having not sent a certified letter before, I’m guessing I can get the form from the post office and it has a certified number already on it that I can use to fill this in? Then we have: Re ; inquiry dated ____: your file # _____
I’m not certain what their file# is. The only unidentified numbers on the letter is an 8-digit number above her name where it was addressed and then it is repeated on a tear off payment form. I assume that would be it? This collection is on a visa card so I then assume that the underlined sentences would be necessary. Correct?
Next Under my State of ________Code #__________ the subject account has a Would I list the state (AZ) she is in now? If so, where do I find the code it is looking for? The number of years listed on why chats page for SOL is as follows: Open Acct.: 3 Written Contract: 6 in Az. - 4 outside Az. Domestic Judgment: 5-additional 5 upon request (indefinitely) Foreign Judgment: 4 I would be stating 3 correct? I have no idea what creditor name to use, the original or Camcos? And what comes after the is? Todays Date? Records indicate that this date on the subject account #___________ with (creditor name) is __ ___ ____.
Where it mentions including the next paragraph on continued collection activities where would I find that info and statute#? Finally, I’m guessing I change the underscore below to AZ and remove the object in parenthesis? I also reserve the right to forward a copy of this letter, and any other pertinent material to the _____(CA lawyer's State) Bar Association. It was also mentioned to me to opt-out on credit reports. What is that and how would it be done? Hope I didn’t squeeze your hand too tight, I just want to get this over with. Thanks, ezz
